Magento 2 / PrestaShop setup

Install the banner in Magento 2 or PrestaShop

Install the GetCookies banner in your Magento 2 or PrestaShop store.

Magento 2

  1. Install the GetCookies extension (upload package or use composer if provided).
  2. In Admin, go to Stores → Configuration → GetCookies.
  3. Paste your Domain ID and enable the banner.
  4. Deploy static content/clear cache if required.

PrestaShop

  1. Install the GetCookies module from the Module Manager (upload ZIP if provided).
  2. Open module settings, paste your Domain ID, and enable.
  3. Clear cache to ensure the script loads site-wide.

Verify

  • Open the store in an incognito window; banner should show.
  • Confirm trackers wait for consent.

Troubleshooting

  • If the banner is missing, check cache/CDN and the Domain ID.
  • For custom hard-coded scripts, wrap with data attributes or move into GTM.
