Run your first scan
Detect cookies and scripts, read results, and fix common issues
Scan your site to detect cookies, scripts, and trackers.
Start a scan
- Go to Domains → choose your domain.
- Click Start Scan (or Run Scan Now).
- Keep the tab open until the scan status changes; large sites may take a few minutes.
Read the results
- See detected cookies and scripts by category.
- Review unclassified items and assign them to Analytics/Marketing/Preferences if needed.
- Check pages crawled and any errors (blocked pages, timeouts).
Fix common issues
- “Banner not detected”: ensure the banner is installed and loads on the homepage.
- “Blocked by robots.txt”: allow the scanner user agent or temporarily relax robots rules.
- Very large sites: limit start URL depth or exclude sections to reduce scan time.
Re-scan after changes
- Re-run scans after banner updates or new third-party tools to keep the inventory fresh.
