Integration: PrestaShop

GetCookies for PrestaShop

The GetCookies module for PrestaShop 1.7 and later adds the GetCookies banner script to the head of every shop page through the displayHeader hook, once you enable it and enter your domain ID in the module's configuration. Banner design, blocking, scans and consent logs are managed in the GetCookies dashboard.

What the module does

  • Adds the banner

Prints the loader script in the page head of every front-office page while the module is enabled and a domain ID is set.

  • Back-office configuration

A configuration page with Enable, Domain ID and an optional API key.

  • Everything else in the dashboard

Script blocking, Google Consent Mode v2 signals, banner text and design, languages, scans and consent logs come from your GetCookies account.

Integrations page with Download Plugin buttons for WordPress 5.8+, Magento 2.4+, PrestaShop 1.7+ and Umbraco 10+
Each domain's Integrations page offers the WordPress, Magento, PrestaShop and Umbraco plugins as downloads. The WordPress, Magento and PrestaShop downloads have that domain's ID already filled in. Screenshot from the GetCookies dashboard, captured 2026-10-27 with a test account and a test domain.

Who it is for

PrestaShop merchants who want a hosted consent banner with consent logs and scans, managed in one dashboard across several shops.

Set it up

1. In the GetCookies dashboard, open the shop's domain, go to Integrations and download the PrestaShop module.

2. In the PrestaShop back office, go to Modules, Module Manager, Upload a module and upload the ZIP.

3. Open the module's Configure page, enable it and check the domain ID.

4. Clear the PrestaShop cache and check the shop in a private window. See the Magento and PrestaShop guide.

Limits

  • Position and auto-block fields

The banner's position and blocking are set in the GetCookies dashboard; the module's position and auto-block fields are not read by the banner.

  • Not on PrestaShop Addons

The module is downloaded from your dashboard.

  • Hard-coded scripts

Mark scripts in theme templates with type="text/plain" and data-cookieconsent, or move them into Google Tag Manager.

Troubleshooting

  • Banner missing

Clear the cache under Advanced Parameters, Performance, and check that your theme calls the displayHeader hook.

  • Two banners

Disable any other cookie or GDPR module so only one banner asks.
